Georgian, George III, Old Sheffield Plate Cake Basket circa 1810 - 1820. Of rectangular form with wire work detail and a gadrooned border. Raised on a reeded foot. The handle with vacant cartouche. The underside of the base is tinned.

In excellent condition with some copper bleed to the reeded foot and wire work detail.
